Reviewing the Honor Magic 8 Pro, global edition - the first flagship smartphone release of 2026, boasting some of the best camera tech around. The Honor Magic 8 Pro could already have the Samsung S26 Ultra and iPhone 18 beat with its excellent optics, plus stellar battery life and strong gaming performance. I've been testing it as my full-time phone, so here's my verdict! One of the absolute highlights here is the camera tech, which allows you to capture amazing, bright and poppy photos at any time of day. The Honor Magic 8 Pro is right up there with the Find X9 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL, while also impressing for night video. However, this isn't a one trick phone. Gamers will be pleased with that Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 performance, supplemented with a respectable gaming mode. While the battery capacity isn't as high as some flagship smartphone rivals, the Honor Magic 8 Pro can still survive a very long day even with plenty of camera play and gaming.
